- Seeking out all our resident Zoli experts. I am curious if there is a way to determine the production year based on the serial number like we could do with Browning. If so, are there any prior to production years that should be avoided? I have been poking around online and reached out to Zoli, but so far no luck. Any help is appreciate it.

- Anyone have an opinion on the over-unders made in Italy by Antonio Zoli for Sears? A local sporting goods store has one in 95 percent condition, 12 gauge, M/F, double triggers. 281 (or is that just the beginning three digits of the serial number?) Gun is very tight and appears to have been carried little.

I know this isn't a high grade piece of the sort often discussed here, but is this a solid gun for the money? It seems so to me but mine is not an informed opinion. Does anyone know when these were made?

Giovanni Zoli signed a flint lock pistol around 1850 and the gun is now treasured in the private family collection. Zoli Antonio s.r.l. As it is today was founded immediately after World War II by Antonio Zoli. Serial number is 94XX, and the right barrel is marked 'Special Chrome Steel' and 'Nitro Proofed' on the top, with the Zoli address and '20 guage magnum' on the top of the left barrel. The bottoms of both barrels are marked with three crosses or plus signs.
